High-temperature exhaust fans, stairwell pressurisation fans and smoke curtains engineered to control smoke movement during a fire.
Where you'll find it in the UAE
Required in towers, malls, car parks and public buildings throughout the UAE under Civil Defence requirements. Includes basement car park jet fan systems and staircase pressurisation.
Common faults
Systems sitting idle for years and failing when finally called upon
Fire damper linkages seized
Pressurisation fans not achieving required staircase pressure differential
Control interface with the fire alarm panel failing to trigger correctly
Missing or lapsed test documentation at inspection
What servicing involves
These systems are life-safety equipment and are tested rather than merely maintained: functional testing of fans and dampers, verification of pressure differentials, confirmation of correct fire alarm interfacing, and issue of test records for Civil Defence. Testing intervals are set by regulation, not preference.
Need this equipment serviced?
Inspection first, fixed written price before any work begins, and a photo report on completion.
