Home / Ducted / Central AC
AC Unit Type: Ducted / CentralDucted and central AC — one system feeding a network of ducts and outlets — is the standard in Dubai villas and in towers connected to district cooling. It cools evenly and looks cleaner than multiple split units, but the duct network itself becomes the main source of dust and needs regular attention that a single filter wipe won't fix.
Every price is confirmed in writing after an inspection, before any work begins.
Rotary-brush and HEPA vacuum cleaning of the full supply and return duct network.
Rebalancing airflow across zones so every room cools evenly again.
Air handling unit overhaul for buildings on centralised or chilled-water systems.
GI ducting repair, re-routing and insulation for renovations or fit-outs.
A ducted system uses one indoor unit and a network of ducts to distribute air through multiple outlets, while split AC uses a separate indoor unit per room. Ducted looks cleaner and cools more evenly, but the duct network needs its own periodic cleaning.
Every 12 to 18 months for most homes; every 6 months for restaurants, clinics or heavy-traffic commercial spaces.
Uneven cooling between rooms, a musty smell when the AC turns on, visible dust around vents, or a noticeable rise in DEWA bills without a change in usage.
A typical apartment takes two to four hours and a villa most of a working day, depending on the number of vents and how the ductwork is laid out. We confirm the duration at the inspection so you can plan access.
No. We seal the vents, sheet the floors and cover furniture before starting, and the debris is drawn out through a HEPA-filtered vacuum rather than pushed into the room. A domestic vacuum returns fine particulate straight back into the air, which is why we do not use one.
